Our Team

San Miguel Legal’s team is headed by our two bilingual attorneys who have more than 28 years of combined legal experience, and who specialize in Real Estate Law, Civil Law and Litigation in these and other areas. Other professionals and staff round out our team so that we can provide you with all the attention needed to meet your legal needs.

Additionally, we have a network of other experts in both Mexico and the United States that we can learn on as needed.

Attorney

Raúl Enrique Ramírez Corona

Enrique was born in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato in 1983. He obtained his law degree from the University of Leon in 2006.

In 2003 he started to work at “Vision Global Asesores”, known as “Mexico Advisor”, a company that provided legal, financial and accounting services.

Enrique first worked as an intern. After graduation in 2006 he was invited to join the firm as a full-fledged attorney.

In September 2006 he had an internship focused on international law at “Davis, Wright and Tremaine” in Portland, OR and under the supervision of Coni S. Rathbone.

The experience at “Mexico Advisor” allowed Enrique to gain experience in various areas of law practice including: Civil, Mercantile, Real Estate, Immigration, and Corporate. In addition, it allowed him to obtain hands on experience in real estate closings.

In April of 2009 “Mexico Advisor” stopped providing legal services to focus on financial planning. Enrique Ramírez and Miguel Cervantes took over the legal practice, thus establishing the law firm “Bufete Jurídico San Miguel Legal”. Enrique and Miguel Continue have continuously managed the firm since that time.

Enrique is currently taking a degree as Notary Public in the Guanajuato University.

Attorney

Juan Miguel Cervantes Quintana

Miguel was born in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato in 1983. He obtained his law degree from the University of León in 2006.

In 2003 he worked with various attorneys in San Miguel, principally in the filed of litigation.

In 2004 he started work at Vision Global Asesores, known as Mexico Advisor, a company that provided legal, financial and accounting services. Miguel first worked as an intern, mainly supporting the area of real estate law. After graduation in 2006 I was invited to join the firm as a full-fledged attorney.

The experience at Mexico Advisor allowed Miguel to gain experience in various areas of law practice including: Civil, Mercantile, Real Estate, Immigration, and Corporate. In addition, it allowed him to obtain hands on experience in real estate closings and title searches.

Stewart Title Guaranty de Mexico and First American hired Miguel to do title searches on their behalf and issue related legal opinions. He has been involved in some of the most prestigious real estate developments in San Miguel as well as those in the cities of Queretaro, Sialo, Irapuato, among others.

He cofounded San Miguel Legal in 2009 together with his partner Enrique.

Miguel is currently taking a degree as Notary Public in the Guanajuato University.
